Multimedia Foundations is one of the new classes offered this year by Information Technology teacher Christian Provenzo. It teaches the basics of music production using computer programs, such as Digi Design Protools and Propelleheads Reason 4.0.
IT students taking the course will learn how to manipulate new programs expertly. Also, the course will teach musicians how to blend and edit original personal sounds and those of fellow musicians together. The three major areas of study covered in this class will be music theory, sound engineering, and live sound. Junior Frank Gomez said, “[Provenzo] is easy to relate to and knows [the] subject very well.
